Objectives of MINEX Trade Fair

The “Made-in Nigeria Exhibition, MINEX” is organized within the framework of the promotion and strengthening of economic, commercial and cultural relations between Nigeria and Mali. This fair aims mainly to promote products and services from Nigeria in Mali and create opportunities for commercial and cultural exchanges between the two countries. The exhibition has three specific objectives:

1- To bring Nigerian companies into Mali in order to access the Malian market, acquire patronage and explore potential partners for future collaborations,
2- To offer the opportunity to Malian businesses to discover solutions and opportunities that are abound in Nigeria, particularly in the sectors of trade, industry, agriculture, engineering and encourage them to import goods and services from Nigeria. Thus, Nigeria will become a venerable business partner for Mali,
3- To avail Nigerian businessmen of the investment potentials and opportunities offered by Republic of Mali .

Format of MINEX Trade Fair

MINEX Trade Fair is in response to the needs of economic operators of the two countries, Nigeria and Mali, to meet and exchange mutually beneficial partnerships and business opportunities in all areas of both economies. This exhibition is expected take place in Bamako, Mali, annually. The maiden edition of the MINEX Trade Fair will last three (3) days, from the 3rd to the 5th of November, 2016 at the Palais des Sports in Bamako, Mali.
The venue is ideal for exhibition events, forums for exchanges B to B, conferences, animations and other activities. Over 100 exhibitors from Nigeria are expected to participate. The number of professional and individual visitors is expected to be over 3,000. The Malian people are being and are expected to patronize the event including nationalities of the neighboring countries. During the Trade Fair, many visitors will discover the quality services and products from Nigeria, do good business on housewares, furniture, food products, cosmetics, as well as have fun with family or friends by taking part in the different activities at the venue.
The Theme of this maiden edition of the MINEX is "Revival of Trade Relations between Nigeria and Mali."

Expected Results


- A networking forum for conomic operators of Nigeria and Mali will be created
- Participating Nigerian companies will establish new contacts and find new markets for their products and services
- Malian economic operators will find new suppliers in their respective fields
- Visitors will find the products and services that meet their needs
- Investment opportunities offered by the two countries are known
- Bilateral cooperation and bonds of friendship between Nigeria and Mali will be reinforced
- Informed recommendations will be made to the public authorities of both countries.

Organizer of MINEX Trade Fair

The organizer of the MINEX event is Ginco Group SARL in partnership with the Embassy of Nigeria in Mali and the Nigerian Export Promotion Council. Other collaborators include Kano Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce of Mali.

Ginco Group SARL is a Malian-based company owned by Nigerians and is committed to promoting made-in Nigeria goods and services to the audience outside Nigeria, within the ECOWAS sub-region and beyond.
Ginco Group SARL is well positioned to support Nigerian businesses and businessmen who may wish to explore business opportunities in Mali. Under specific arrangements, Ginco Group SARL will follow-up on on-going negotiations and/or transactions in order to ensure that these activities receive the appropriate level of attention from Malian partners or authorities.

Monitoring and Evaluation


It is important to assess the impact of the exhibition after the event and confirm the viability of this initiative. The result of such comprehensive assessment and follow-up actions will enable investors and businesses from both countries to make all the necessary adjustments to their investment strategies and other informed decisions.

A committee, comprising of representatives of both countries will be established to analyze the data collected during the exhibition ii order to determine the level of success of the exhibition based on predetermined success criteria and benchmarks. The Nigerian community in Mali in cooperation with Malian and Nigerian authorities, will establish a zone exclusively for made in Nigeria products. When established, such a zone will be directed and managed under very strict conditions of best practices in business ethics.
